The stickiness of "us"

I have been curious about the energy that sticks to me and cause me to contract and feel. I attune and feel these spots in my own body so deeply when I am working with others. I used to "other" and push it away but now I listen deeper to the ache, tingle, discomfort, tension.β£

The downloads I receive co-being with folks allow the soothing, moving, softening, and resting of the tensions in our bodies. I donβt believe in βpicking up others stuffβ anymore. I believe I pick it up because that stickiness and tension already exists in my own tissuesβand the co-being, co-healing becomes the space where we play with un-sticking together. β£

And we will make mistakes in this practice of play. β£

It also takes vulnerability and bravery to put down your armor and sword first in a world that feels so violent. β£

To rest when chaos is swirling around us. β£

When a lot of us are literally fighting and begging for our livelihood and survival. β£

This year, I witnessed a conflict where a person broke out in song in their βcall inβ, went through all the sensations in their body, and then tried to use words to describe their disagreement and pain of the other. This created an amazing friendship and bond between the two who were in βconflictβ. It impacted me so deeply, I think about the bravery to choose pause, tenderness, and love in moments of tension. How pause, rest, song, poetry, dance shows up in history with Dr. Kingβs direct action, non violent movement or Chief Apash Wyakaikt (the whites called him Chief Looking Glass) allowing his fleeing tribe to rest at Bear Paw or the prayer of Ho'oponopono in Hawaiian tradition. β£

What is the song and dance youβre willing to bring to the βbattleβ to soothe, trust, appreciate, and love all your protectors? β£
What does rest look like FOR YOU in tension, in chaos, in battle? β£

What would happen if we walked into conflict with softnessβto you, to the other, to the outcome? β£

How do we continue to create the capacity to endure rest and beauty with chaos and tension?
